Welcome to the Houston County School's Central Registration Department.  All new students (Pre-K - 12th grade) and those transferring within our district will need to register at Central Registration, which is located at 303 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA.  Our  goal in having one location for registration is to improve customer service by expediting the process, ensuring consistency across all 38 schools, and making it more convenient for those with children in more than one school.  

If you are enrolling a Pre-K student, please read the Pre-K section below before scheduling an appointment. 

Kindergarten registration for 2017-2018 will be held May 1 - 31, 2017 You may begin making appointments for new kindergarten students on April 1st. Students currently enrolled in Houston County's Pre-K program will automatically be registered.

If you are registering for 1st - 12th grades for NEXT (2017-2018) school year, registration appointments will begin on June 1st.  The appointment calendar for next year will be available in May.

Please follow the 3 steps outlined below to register your student:


Step 1.  APPOINTMENT

Schedule an appointment to register your student(s) at Central Registration using the online appointment calendar.

- Are you registering for grades K - 12 for the CURRENT 2016-2017 school year?  If so, please click HERE.

- Are you registering for PRE-K for NEXT year (beginning August 2017)?  If so, please click HERE.

 

Step 2.   PRE-REGISTRATION

Parents new to Houston County schools should complete the Online Registration before their appointment at Central Registration. (Please note that this cannot be completed using a cell phone or tablet). Completing the on-line forms will assist us in registering your child. However, it is a requirement that the parent go to Central Registration in order to complete the registration process. If you do not have access to the online registration, please arrive 15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment in order to complete the on-line portion using a computer at Central Registration.

 

Step 3. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Please bring all the items listed below to Central Registration in order to successfully register your child.

 Registration Checklist
What do I need to enroll my child?

Parent/Guardian Photo ID 
        (for example: work ID, passport, driver's license)

Certified Birth Certificate  

 Guardianship/Custody Orders if the child does not live with his natural parents  

 All students new to the county or transferring schools within the county need to provide a disconnect notice for previous      address (Georgia residents only).

Two Proofs of Residency
     
             Lease or Mortgage statement (current within last 60 days)

         plus one of the following:

            · Utility bill (electric, water or cable bill)
            · Property tax statement or income tax statement
            · Automobile registration or insurance
            · Mail from any government agency 

 Social Security Card (or signed waiver in accordance with O.C.G.A 20-2-150)

 Ear, Eye and Dental Screening, Georgia Form 3300 (available from a doctor or the Health Department) 

 Immunization Certificate, Georgia Form 3231 (available from a doctor or the Health Department) 

 School Records and Last Report Card, if transferring from another school system

2017-2018 Pre-K Registration

 

 

Pre-K registration for the 2017-2018 school term will be held February 27th through March 24th.  Students enrolling for Pre-K must be four years old on September 1, 2017.  Students enrolling for Pre-K must be four years old on September 1, 2017.  Only children whose birthdates are September 2, 2012 through September 1, 2013 are eligible for participation in the 2017-2018 school year.  

Parents should set their registration appointment according to the schedule below based on their elementary school zone:
 

  • February 27 - March 3 will be Bonaire, David Perdue Primary, Hilltop, Russell and Shirley Hills
  • March 6 - 10 will be Centerville, Eagle Springs, Lake Joy Primary, Northside and Quail Run
  • March 13 - 17 will be CB Watson Primary, Lindsey, Miller, Parkwood and Westside
  • March 20 - 24 will be Kings Chapel, Langston Road, Matt Arthur, Morningside and Tucker

Before your appointment, please follow the steps outlined above to ensure that you will be able to successfully register your child.


Pre-K registration for the current school term (2016-2017) is closed.  However, you may go to the office of your child's school to be added to the waiting list. If you have questions about your zoned school, please see the Zoning link below.

Change of Address

If you move to a new school zone within Houston County, it is necessary for you to go to Central Registration to change your address. Parents are asked to complete the Change of Address Form.  You will be required to provide the documents listed on the form in order to complete the change of address process.

If you move within the same school zone, please take the form and required documents to the ATS clerk at your child's school.
