Pre-K Registration 2017-2018

Students enrolling for Pre-K must be four years old on September 1, 2017.

Dates planned for registration by elementary school zone are:

  • February 27 - March 3 ~ David Perdue, Bonaire, Hilltop, Russell and Shirley Hills
  • March 6 - 10 ~ Lake Joy Primary, Quail Run, Eagle Springs, Centerville and Northside
  • March 13 - 17 ~ CB Watson, Lindsey, Westside, Parkwood and Miller
  • March 20 - 24 ~ Tucker, Morningside, Kings Chapel, Langston Road and Matt Arthur

Kindergarten registration will be held May 1 - 31, 2017.  Students currently enrolled in the system's Pre-K program will automatically be registered.

All new students (Kindergarten - 12th grade) and those transferring within our district will need to register at Central Registration, which is located at 303 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA.  Our overall goal in having one location for registration is to improve customer service by expediting the process, ensuring consistency across all 38 schools, and making it more convenient for those with children in more than one school.  

Parents new to Houston County schools should complete the Online Registration (no Pre-K, only K-12) before visiting Central Registration. Please note that completing the on-line forms will assist us in registering your child.  However it is a requirement that the parent go to Central Registration in order to complete the registration process.  Please see the Registration Checklist below for the items that will be needed.

Pre-K registration for the 2016-2017 school term is closed.  However you may go to the office at your child's zoned school to be added to the waiting list.  If you have questions about your zoned school, please contact us at 478-741-3610.


Change of Address

If you move to a new school zone within Houston County, it is necessary for you to go to Central Registration to change your address. Parents are asked to complete the Change of Address Form (click here).  You will be required to provide the documents listed on the form in order to complete the change of address process.

If you move within the same school zone, please take the form and required documents to the ATS at your child's school.

Registration Checklist
What do I need to enroll my child?
Parent/Guardian Photo ID
(for example: work ID, passport, driver's license)

Certified Birth Certificate  

Guardianship/Custody Orders if the child does not live with his natural parents  

All students new to the county or transferring schools within the county need to provide a disconnect notice for previous address (Georgia residents only).
Two Proofs of Residency

              Lease or Mortgage statement (current within last 60 days)

              plus one of the following:

             · Utility bill (electric, water or cable bill)
             · Property tax statement or income tax statement
             · Automobile registration or insurance
             · Mail from any government agency 

Social Security Card (or signed waiver in accordance with O.C.G.A 20-2-150)

Ear, Eye and Dental Screening, Georgia Form 3300 (available from a doctor or the Health Department) 

Immunization Certificate, Georgia Form 3231 (available from a doctor or the Health Department) 

School Records and Last Report Card, if transferring from another school  system
