    Friday, May 26, 2017               Perry High                                       5:00 p.m.

    Friday, May 26, 2017               Houston County High                    8:00 p.m.

    Saturday, May 27, 2017          Northside High                                9:00 a.m.

    Saturday, May 27, 2017          Warner Robins High                     12:00 p.m.

    Saturday, May 27, 2017          Veterans High                                 3:00 p.m.

 

 

 

Graduation Information:

Tickets:
No tickets are required for commencement ceremonies. There is no limit on the number of guests who may attend.  Seating, however, is limited in the Miller-Murphy-Howard building.  


Additional Seating:

The Miller-Murphy Howard Building offers seating for more than 5,700 people. Additional seating will be offered in Heritage Hall where guests can view a live broadcast of the ceremonies.


Doors Open One Hour Before Ceremony:

Doors open one hour prior to the ceremony and will be locked 15 minutes prior to the ceremony or earlier if the seats fill up. Guests who arrive after the doors are locked may find seating in Heritage Hall.


Physical or Sensory Assistance:

Handicapped seating will be available on the end of rows in both the Miller-Murphy Howard Building and Heritage Hall.  Wheelchair guests and one family member will be allowed to enter through the South entrance of Miller Murphy Howard 15 minutes prior to doors opening to the public.  At that time, staff will be available to remove a chair at the end of the aisle to make room for a wheelchair.

With advanced notice, hearing enhancement assistance is provided upon request. To request special assistance or a sign language interpreter, please contact School Operations at 478-988-6200, ext. 10513, or by e-mail at ann.cowles@hcbe.net. 


Ceremony Protocol:

.  Please note balloons, posters, or noisemakers of any kind are not permitted in the graduation venue.  


Parking:

Guests requiring assistance may park in the designated parking area in front of the Miller-Murphy Howard Exhibit Building. Please review the handicapped parking map (parking is highlighted in yellow, click here for a zoomed view.) All other guests may park in the paved parking area. 


Live Internet Viewing:

The commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live over the Internet via web stream. You may view the ceremonies from the Houston County Board of Education's home page


Directions:

Traveling North on I-75 

Take Exit 135 

-       To Enter West Gate: Turn right at end of exit ramp; Turn right at first traffic light; West Gate entrance is on the left. 

-       To Enter North Gate: Turn right at end of exit ramp; Proceed straight through traffic light; North Gate entrance on right. 


Traveling South on I-75
 

Take Exit 135 

-       To Enter West Gate: Turn left at end of exit ramp; Turn right at first traffic light; West Gate entrance is on the left. 

-       To Enter North Gate: Turn left at end of exit ramp; Proceed straight through traffic light; North Gate entrance on right.
